Residency At Camp Sealth
This last week I was the visiting artist at Camp Sealth on Vashon Island. Three days of teaching songwriting classes to 8-12 year olds. It was the first time I taught a class to students who had no musical back round or training. The creativity and imagination they had was amazing, with songs about tropical tomatoes, under water cyclops pegasus, or pink palm trees with magical coconuts. It was an inspiring week.
